When Perez Hilton blogged about my housemates band (two spot gobi), the response was pretty crazy, so I’m about to make the same thing happen…
I went to see twospot play in Lisbon recently on 19 March. They were supporting Jason Mraz on the European leg of his tour and opened up for him to an incredibly receptive and vibrant crowd. The crowd of 5,000 heads was largely made up of Portuguese sweet 16′s with a small crew of surfers from Plymouth who were on a whistle stop tour along the West coast of Portugal.
Much to our suprise, we did not need to contest with anyone for beers at the bar as we appeared to be the only ones drinking… this coupled with the rays we had caught while surfing earlier lead to us getting merry fairly rapidly.
When twospot opened we managed to fight our way through the crowd until we found a nice spot situated just at the front. Being 2ft taller than the average fan along with our sun burnt faces, if we didn’t stand out enough already, clapping hands, singing along loudly and shoulder viewing was a necessary must. Two spot rocked out, we rocked out and the crowd rocked out too – what an incredible evening…!
